We are devoted fans of the quirky, witty Gilmore Girls television show (which ran originally for seven seasons, starting in the year 2000). It currently can be viewed on streaming channels including Amazon Prime, Netflix, and on Apple TV.
I have fond memories of watching Gilmore Girls in a weekly Pasta Night dinner ritual with my sister when the show originally aired; and we both re-watch the series every few years or whenever we can catch a spare minute to revisit a favorite episode.
You can imagine our excitement to find out that The Official Gilmore Girls Cookbook (via Amazon; affiliate link) comes out in late April 2022!
We can’t peek inside this cookbook quite yet, but we’re assured all our favorite Stars Hollow foods are represented here. (What I wouldn’t give to have Sookie cook me a meal!)
Recipes are based around locations from the show, including Luke’s Diner, The Dragonfly Inn, Weston’s Bakery and of course Richard and Emily’s Friday night dinner table. We also see a few recipes from Mrs. Kim (Rory’s best friend Lane’s bossy mother).
