I never get tired of pop culture cookbooks, and I’m excited to explore The Golden Girls Cookbook soon!
“The Golden Girls Cookbook: More than 90 Delectable Recipes from Blanche, Rose, Dorothy, and Sophia” is by Christopher Styler. You can peek at his old Instagram here but he doesn’t update it. He has written several books about The Golden Girls, as you can see via his Amazon author profile.
Chapters include:
- Breakfast and Brunch (things like Farmstead Omelet and Country Ham with Red-Eye Gravy)
- Soups and Salads (including Caesar a la Zbornak and “Everything” Mango Pineapple salad)
- Veggie Sides (Naughty Blanche Collard Greens, anyone?)
- Pastas (Sunday Gravy and Rich Meat Sauce among others)
There isn’t a cheesecake recipe in this book because it’s a repackaged re-edition to complement its companion cookbook, The Golden Girls Cookbook: Cheesecake and Cocktails (via Amazon; affiliate link) which came out in 2022.
The Golden Girls celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. I feel old! I loved watching this show with my mother in the 1980s!
