Sips on the Slopes: Drinks + Bites for Après-Ski, by Kelley Epstein (September 8, 2026)
I don’t ski, but I love hanging out at ski lodges, reading a book and sipping a hot drink while I watch skiiers out the window. I also occasionally (every 3-4 yearsish) rent a ski cabin and host my ski-loving friends for a weekend. I love having a hot meal and refreshing beverages ready for them when they return happy and exhausted from skiing all day. I’m very much looking forward to this cocktail and nibbles cookbook.
Chapters include Mug; Wine & Flute; Plate; Martini & Coupe; Rocks; Bowl; Highball; Carafe & Pitcher. It looks like mostly this is a drinks book with just a few food recipes. The drinks look fabulous and enticing!

Ukraïne: Recipes and Stories from Kyiv to the Black Sea, by Anna Voloshyna (October 13, 2026)
I was able to get an advance copy of this important new Eastern European cookbook and previewed it in this blog post. I’m very excited to make many of the recipes in this cookbook, and I don’t anticipate any problems converting several for my vegetarian diet. I’m very impressed by this Ukrainian cookbook and enjoying reading it from cover to cover.
