Stunning Vintage 1960s and 1970s Cookware from Nordic Ware Cookbook Divas Cookbook Blog

It’s a dark, gloomy and rainy day today. I’m browsing bright vintage yellow cookware on Etsy to cheer myself up. Take a look at the stunning retro Nordic Ware pieces I’m drooling over!

I normally think of Bundt pans and cake molds when I think of Nordic Ware, but apparently they made a few pieces of cookware as well during the mid-century decades.

I’m so tempted to purchase this glorious midcentury two quart Nordic Ware casserole. While Mac and Cheese would probably look underwhelming if served in it, imagine a piping hot lasagna or Eggplant Parmigiana casserole! At Thanksgiving, this would be a fantastic way to present my grandmother’s beloved green bean casserole dish, or my mother’s recipe for corn spoonbread.

I have to admit, I haven’t made a souffle in several years, so I have no real reason to buy this yellow Nordic Ware souffle casserole dish. Love the chicken and mushrooms in the design!

This Nordic Ware souffle dish proclaims the design to be called “Harvest,” and comes with a table-protecting stand, and the original box and booklet!

Here’s the Nordic Ware take on “avocado green” in this souffle dish. I have to admit that Ina Garten’s spinach souffle would look fantastic in this.

I’m so surprised to see that Nordic Ware made an omelette pan! I’m actually pretty good at flipping omelettes (after much practice!) but this could come in handy, especially if you make omelettes for Sunday Brunch!

Over on eBay, here’s a set of three vintage Nordic Ware casseroles with a lovely botanical pattern. I wonder if they originally came with lids? Well, we can always just use aluminum foil to cover our casseroles. And here’s a tip for preventing aluminum foil from sticking to casseroles!
