The Butter Book, by Anna Stockwell (March 17, 2026)
Here’s everything you need to know to cook and bake with butter: butter buying and storing tips; the history of butter; how to make, whip, clarify or compound it; and how to brown and emulsify butter. There are ten recipes that really showcase butter and its flavors, including Grown-Up Buttered Pasta, Compound Butter Biscuits; and Butter Roast Chicken.

Cake Picnic: Recipes for the Love of Cake & Friends, by Elisa Sunga (May 19, 2026)
One of the ladies behind @cakepicnictour brings us a lovely book about how to host, organize and throw a cake picnic; plus themed menus for seasonal cake picnics and the recipes to go along with them. This is the #1 cookbook I am most excited about for 2026. I can’t wait to start hosting cake picnics in both of the cities I live in!

Citrus, Illustrated, by George Geary with illustrations by Rebecca Hollingsworth (February 10, 2026)
I love collecting citrus cookbooks – perhaps because they’re so refreshing to me near the end of winter when I need bright flavors to cheer me up after long gray rainy days for weeks. This new cookbook will feature 35 sweet and savory recipes, including salsa, chutney, tea cake, a martini, roasted vegetables or salmon using citrus, and more. Chapters are arranged by type of citrus fruit.

The Flavor of Fire: Recipes for Grilling & Smoking with Southern Flair, by Kelsey Barnard Clark (May 5, 2026)
Here’s a comprehensive guide to roast food outdoors over an open flame, whether you’re grilling, smoking or cooking. It’s an introductory guide to teach essential skills and techniques so you can grill and barbecue (with a Southern flair, of course) confidently.

Party Tricks: Easy, Elegant Recipes for Snacking and Hosting, by Anna Hezel (March 10, 2026)
Here’s a new cookbook that encourages us to throw easier parties by utilizing cheese boards, tinned fish, snacks and hors d’oeuvres, but in an elegant way. There are tips on stocking your pantry and prepping for parties, and a Snacks for Dinner chapter for dining happily solo at home.

Pizza Practice: Doughs, Techniques + Toppings, by Tara Jensen (April 7, 2026)
Now you can learn everything you need to know about prepping and making the best possible pizza dough at home. The author shares 89 recipes for pizza as well as pita, focaccia and other delicious bakes made with pizza dough. Tips and techniques are taught for cooking outdoors over a fire, in an outdoor pizza oven, or in your apartment oven at home. She includes a few recipes for baked desserts that pair well with pizza, such as brownies.

Will This Make You Happy: Stories & Recipes from a Year of Baking, by Tanya Bush (March 3, 2026)
This new book is both a memoir and a cookbook. The author shares her journey to becoming a baker. The culinary memoir includes fifty recipes. The recipes are divided by season, and include such things as Fish Sauce Peanut Butter, Cardamom Cruller with Plum Drizzle, pavlovas, corn muffins and more.
